London Wayfarers Hockey Club, Battersea

About Us

Mens 1s and 2s Team 2004

London Wayfarers Hockey Club was founded 12 years ago in Battersea, South West London. Since our founding we have gone from strength to strength, and currently have a membership of around 200, fielding 13 sides (7 mens, 6 ladies) every Saturday.

The standard of hockey we play varies widely throughout the club, with a very high standard being demonstrated by our 1st and 2nd XIs, ranging to a merely good level further down the club.

Wayfarers as a club likes to put emphasis on both the sporting and social aspects of hockey, playing hard both on and off the pitch. Most Saturday evenings plenty of Wayfs can be found in our clubhouse The Latchmere.

For information on joining the Men, please contact Birdman.

For the Ladies please fill in our online membership form or contact Claire Smith to find out more.
