Come and join us for our summer hockey camps. All ages and abilities welcome; our camps are open to members and non-members. Players will be split into small groups by age/skill level and will move through a carousel of tailored activities, drills and games where our experienced group of coaches will help to develop players’ hockey skills and match awareness.

Masterclasses
London Wayfarers HC are delighted to announce the introduction of our NEW Masterclass camp/clinic programme. Focusing on high level skill development, these camps are aimed at those involved with England Hockey pathway activity (i.e. London Hockey, County, Talent Academy and above) and some will be age-capped.
We look forward to welcoming current international players, as well as players and coaches with experience of a number of the top domestic leagues around the world, to lead some of these sessions and share their experience. Masterclass themes will include topics such as:
Ball mastery
Fundamentals of flicking (i.e. drag flicking)
Game accelerators
Playmaking masterclass
Defensive dominance
Airborne (i.e. 3D skills, aerials, aerial receipt, etc)
Connect and control
Elite eliminations

NEW! MASTERCLASS WITH DAVID GOODFIELD FRIDAY 25TH JULY 9:30AM-12:30PM
We are delighted to announce current men’s international, David Goodfield, as coach for our Masterclass on the morning of Friday 25th July. David will be a familiar face to players who have watched FIH Pro League games at Lee Valley, having amassed over 100 combined caps (and 27 goals) for England and Great Britain. A three-time National Premier League winner with Surbiton HC, whom he joined from Harvestehuder THC in Germany in 2016, he has also represented England at the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games (winning bronze medals in both), the 2023 World Cup and EuroHockey Championships. In addition he was also selected to play for Great Britain at the 2024 Olympics.
David is a midfielder/forward and his Masterclass will focus on advanced ball carrying and goalscoring techniques. The session requires a high level of technical proficiency and is therefore designed for those 14 years of age +, who have been selected to participate for a county Academy Centre, an England Hockey Talent Centre or above. (The club may additionally send invitations directly to anyone who falls outside of these parameters but is judged to be of a suitable level. We reserve the right to move players into our standard camp if they do not meet the above criteria).
