The London Wayfarers Ladies 1st XI have a long away trip this weekend, as they head to Guernsey to play in the first round of the Investec Women’s Tier 2 Championship.

The Ladies 1s have had a great start to the season and are currently top of South Prem 2, having won both of their opening games, including a 2-0 win away to Woking.

The new competition has been revamped this year by England Hockey to allow more teams to enter.

Guernsey is home to London Wayfarers’ very own Aaron Scoones, who will be there.

For any other London Wayfarers fans who happen to be on the island and are keen get down to support – pushback is at 4.30pm at Footes Lane.

Good luck, ladies!
