Wonder what we are all about and what our plans are for the future? Our new Club Strategy is there to tell you more!

Back in October we invited all members to get involved in deciding the future direction of our club. We had a great response from senior players, parents and volunteers with over 30 people from all parts of the club contributing over the past 7 months in working groups and the strategy committee.

The end result is a new strategic plan for London Wayfarers Hockey Club which sets out our ambitions and how we plan to become London’s most admired hockey club!

This means creating a fantastic environment both on and off the pitch for all those involved in London Wayfarers and the wider hockey community. There are plenty of exciting developments within the club with recent successes on the pitch, growth in membership and our social side being as strong as ever.

But we can do better and deliver an even greater hockey experience for all. There are ambitious plans ranging from national league performance hockey to more social activities and community engagement. Just have a look at our Club Strategy to find out more about our priorities and what we are looking to achieve in the next 5 years.

Get involved

The hard work starts now. In the upcoming months we will set up working groups and task forces to ensure we start delivering and achieve our goals. Maybe you have some expert knowledge and/or enthusiasm to help realise our plans? We could certainly do with your support so please do get in touch.

For any questions you may have please just drop me a line. We are also looking to do a Q&A session closer to the start of season.

Lastly, I would like to thank all those who have been so heavily involved in developing our strategic direction which will hopefully ensure we continue to deliver the best possible hockey experience!
